Darwen Town Council is pleased to support improvements to our local green spaces through a grant awarded to The Friends of Bold Venture Park.

As part of the Council’s ongoing commitment to helping keep Darwen’s parks welcoming and well maintained, funding was provided to install new information signs at Bold Venture Park. The signs have now been installed at both the main entrance and the top entrance to the park.

The new boards highlight key features and points of interest throughout the park, helping visitors learn more about Bold Venture Park’s history, landmarks, walking routes, and facilities while making it easier to explore and enjoy everything the park has to offer.

Darwen Town Council would like to thank The Friends of Bold Venture Park for their continued work and dedication in helping maintain and improve one of Darwen’s valued green spaces.

Visitors are encouraged to take a look at the new signs during their next visit to the park.
